The 90 Day Strategy

The 90-day strategy gives you the chance to get past the beginning stages and into the details of a new approach. Consider strategy changes like social media or other marketing efforts as a means of recording progress within 90 days. Why this amount of time? For one, 90 days have each quarter in a fiscal year. Many companies make decisions by quarter. This gives your company the best amount of time to process the new information, learn it, and be confident in the execution. The trend will appear within this amount of time. Thirty days is the beginning stage, while 60 days is a period of deeper investment in time or money yet still shallow in the full depth of understanding multiple facets. Take the 90 days mark as your queue to evaluate.

In the beginning, notate your goals. For example, your goal is to increase follower growth on Instagram within 90 days. Take note of how many followers you had on day one. Each month to date, take a screenshot to stay accountable. The strategy to grow followership can be advertising, adding more individuals on Instagram, and engagement, meaning commenting on posts to gain visibility. Remember, not one person can recall an invisible business, yet one person can recall a visible company who is memorable. (You are welcome to quote this, just tag me.) Learning something new takes time. This strategy is unique, so breath and give yourself space to enjoy and take the lead on this adventurous pursuit.

No matter the topic of choice, 90 days is the key. Execute this daily for quality results. Also, consistency will help your confidence in this new endeavor. Once you reach 90 days, evaluate the conclusion of your goals. Guess what? If this was a success or not, perhaps you want to have any go at it and pursue another 90 days, go for it!
