Senior Level Execs Get Social
On social media, a question came to me asking how a senior-level executive can transition onto social media. Social Media is a perfect way for you as a senior-level executive to grow your brand, share your company's message, and gain opportunity through speaking engagements and podcasts.
Within your content strategy, talk about your company's mission statement, history, ethics, values, and moral standings within the industry. Utilize your strengths in a discussion. Whether you are a video personality, you take pictures of yourself, or you like writing, the area that excites you the most will show. Speak about the company's press, along with other opportunities to excite your audience. If your company provides you content and they have pictures or other captions for you to use, I recommend using them to enhance attention.
Also, make sure to access a photographer and videographer for yourself. When you have a speaking engagement, you have access directly to a creative producer to accompany you for the benefit of content. Use social media to connect directly with individuals at conferences and other business partnerships. Let's say you are a frequent speaker, and you want to access more speaking engagements, search industry topics, and cities in the hashtag section.
Be consistent! The social presence you lead with now reflects on your personality and business reputation. Redefine your reputation directly using social media. So let's say you get into the habit of posting once or twice a day. I recommend using software that helps you buffer and schedule social media posts. That way, instead of posting on the go, you have a tool in advance that will display live on your behalf. Be social on social media. Reply to comments and engage with other accounts on their posts.
Being consistent with a clear message that resonates with your audience to provoke an action as to how you, as a senior-level executive, can confidently enter the social space and execute daily.
