Why I LOVE Being an Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle. Today I am talking about why I love being an entrepreneur, giving you some insight on some of the reasons that I enjoy entrepreneurship and the lifestyle. Let's start.
Freedom
Entrepreneurship provides freedom of choice. I get to choose whatever activity I want to have involvement in, whether it's within my own business or my client's business on a given day or week. This gives me the autonomy to design the day I choose to live.
Great Outdoors
I love being an entrepreneur because, at any time of the day, I'm able just simply to walk outside. Anytime throughout the day, I can independently choose when I want to go out and get some fresh air. Walks are pleasurable to garner some creative energy in the middle of the afternoon. Space in nature to raise my vibration brings new ideas.
Food
I can eat whenever I want. I'm able to engage in intermittent fasting like I do within my fitness lifestyle and eat whenever I want. On days when I have client meetings, I simply arrange my eating around those meetings. Whether it is to stop to make a cup of tea or eat lunch, food is on my schedule.
Quality time
I'm able to have quality time with my dog at any time of the day. Whenever I want to get up and take him on a walk and go outdoors with my dog, I can do that because I'm an entrepreneur. During a holiday or an extended vacation, I'm able to enjoy a family member or friends being available.
Working from home
My lifestyle is very flexible right now. I work from home and in an office downtown. I work when I travel to see clients. In contrast to a 9:00-5:00 lifestyle, I choose my work environment depending on the day.
Vacation
I can go on vacation whenever I want. How amazing is that? The arrangement of travel is flexible within my business structure. Upon leaving, I make sure to notify clients and team members, so they are ready. Given advance notice, this process is rather easy to coordinate. While on vacation, I engage in regular checkups to make sure the strategy is running smoothly. I still have a significant responsibility to make sure that the client accounts are up and running along with enjoying that vacation. The freedom of remote work provides me the happiness to travel at any time of the year.
Schedule
From the time I rise to the time I fall asleep to the time I start working, the day is my oyster. Entrepreneurship is a seven day a week lifestyle. There are some days where I work more than others, and some days, I work early in the morning.
These are the seven reasons why I love being an entrepreneur. I will tell you that all this freedom and choice comes with an extreme amount of discipline and courage to forge my lifestyle. I put in a lot of work to choose when I get to walk my dog or when I go on vacation. I have discipline.
So, for you to read this article and say, "Wow, being an entrepreneur sounds cool and independent," it is, however, you must have a level of discipline and courage within yourself to balance out freedom and discipline to successfully grow your business.
